Attempted Theft of Vehicle - Sherwood Grove, Shipley BD18

Dear Resident,

Sometime between 8pm on 19/05/2026 and 8.45am on 20/05/2026, unidentified suspect/s attempted to steal a 24 plate Lexus RX 350 from an address on Sherwood Grove, Shipley. The suspect/s cut a hole in the rear of the vehicle to expose some wiring and have then  tampered with the electronics. No entry was gained to the car and the suspect/s made off unseen. The victim had also fitted an additional steering lock which may have prevented the theft.
